为激发同学们学习英语的热情，提高同学们英语口语能力，营造良好的英语学习氛围，4月26日下午，第十届SNAI杯英语演讲比赛通过腾讯会议线上平台端顺利举办，本次比赛由英语社主办，邀请了胡玥老师、杨伽伦老师及2020级全日制的张铭颖同学担任本次比赛的评委。本次活动吸引了九名研究生参赛，并展示了雄厚的英语实力，也赢得了观赛同学们的掌声。
本次比赛的第一环节为主题演讲，参赛选手需要以疫情为主题展开演讲。在演讲中，选手们纷纷用流利动情的言语表达了对奋战在一线的医护工作人员的敬意，对学院在疫情期间保障同学们的正常学习生活的感激以及对上海疫情尽快好转的希望等。参赛选手的演讲也代表了在院学习的同学们的精神状态，可以看出，疫情并没有磨灭同学们对于生活与未来的热爱，SNAI学子们依旧奋勇向前，表现出了昂扬的精神状态。本文最后呈现此环节参赛选手演讲的精彩片段。
大赛的第二环节为自选话题演讲，参赛们选手各显神通，从各个方面生动的做了介绍，有的选手介绍了优秀的电影作品，有的选手讲述了憧憬着的远方风景，有的选手提及自身的积极改变，有的选手回忆了自己年少时的引路人。参赛选手们精彩的演讲或引人深思，或让人热血沸腾，也给同学们树立了良好的榜样。
随后，三位评委分别就参赛选手的发音、语气语调、内容等方面做出了专业的点评，为大家未来学习英语口语指明了方向。参赛选手们获益匪浅。最后，评委们评选出本次英语演讲比赛的一、二、三等奖以及最佳口才奖，本次大赛在别具一格的线上“合影”中落下帷幕。
这次比赛充分展现了SNAI学子的英语水平和精神面貌，很大程度上激发了同学们学习英语的兴趣与热情。相信在这次比赛后，同学们一定会更加投入地学习英语，并学以致用，在未来的学习、工作中更好地运用英语。

What has changed on campus during the pandemic? thebiggest change I think is that we've discovered a lot of love that we didn'tsee before. This love comes from gardeners, canteen staff, the dormitoryadministrators and so on. During the process, we're also passing on ourlittle power, there is no doubt that the epidemic has brought members of ourinstitute family closer together.

The hard-won and steady life must be treasuredalways. Now is the time that we should do our obligation, which just requiresus to study in school and avoid causing turmoil in society. I hope that one daywe will be able to remove our masks, converse directly with one another, andstroll around freely.
